mc one to ten

Describtion

"One to ten" is, referring  to its name, a transformer with a gain ratio of one to ten. The amplification of the voltage is thought to be for MC-systems with a main voltage between 300 µV and 750µV. Moreover, the internal resistance of the field coil should be up to 50 ohm. Most of the MC-systems can be connected with this transformer.

The Transformer

The used transformers are of high quality, especially  for studios. We can avoid an intern resistor because of the high resonance frequency and the imaging of the frequency linear. Hence, the music signal will only be sent through the transformer. The benefit is that this signal will not be darkened. As a result, the music is louder than when using a conventional "one to ten" transformer at the pre-amp.
The transformer is connected asymmetrically to a central ground jack. Therefore, it is only possible to have a symmetrical mode of operation.

The Case

The case is made of highly polished 1.5 mm stainless steel. Stainless steel is non-magnetic, therefore we will not have any unwanted turbulent flow in this case.

Terminals

We will only use high-class gilded types with an isolation of teflon for our RCA plugs. Another positive detail is, that the ground jack can be connected with 6mm pin plugs.
